Manager, Planning and Design (Ref.:M(P&D))

The Urban Renewal Authority (“URA”) is tasked to undertake urban renewal in accordance with the provisions of the Urban Renewal Authority Ordinance and the Urban Renewal Strategy published by the Government. The URA adopts a holistic approach to urban renewal with redevelopment and rehabilitation as its core businesses.


• To assist in undertaking strategic planning and concept design works for assigned redevelopment, revitalization and / or preservation projects

• To assist in monitoring of consultants’ performance and progress for assigned projects through various stages of planning and implementation

• To assist in carrying out in-depth design studies / assessments of assigned projects

• To provide planning, architectural design, urban design and other technical expertise to facilitate the planning and implementation of assigned projects


• Degree holder in Architectural discipline

• Recognised professional qualifications, e.g. HKIA, RIBA, etc. or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years’ post-qualification experience or at least 7 years’ post-degree working experience

• Knowledge of AutoCAD (2D/3D), Photoshop, Illustrator, PowerPoint presentation and other graphic software is essential

• Proficiency in spoken and written English and Chinese
